MH370: Know the Secret Behind Sudden Disappearance of Malaysian Flight 370 that Shocked the World
The disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 has been deemed as one of the greatest aviation mysteries of all time. It has been 6 years since its disappearance. Yet, various rumors and theories are unable to explain the circumstances behind the missing flight.
On Last day of MH370:
MH370 was last seen on March 8, 2014, before it vanished from the radar. The luxurious flight was carrying around 239 passengers, of which the majority of them were Chinese nationals, from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The disappearance of the flight had prompted an extensive search mission, probably one of the biggest and expensive search missions in history, in a bid to uncover the truth behind its disappearance.
Unfortunately, Malaysian Authorities were forced to call off their search mission, mainly because they were unable to produce substantial evidence or conclusion about the reason why the plane disappeared.
They were also unsuccessful in locating any debris or piece of wreckage, which might give an idea of its status. However, despite the authority's failure to find the flight, this has definitely not stopped people around the world from conspiring various theories to bring some sort of closure to the grieving families of the missing victims.
Theories:
One popular theory suggests that the plane may have suffered a cabin depressurization, and this may have resulted in the suffocation of the passengers. In contrast, the co-pilot Fariq Abdul Hamid may have suffered oxygen deprivation, which forced him to make a serious of bizarre decision which led him to ultimately crash the plane somewhere in the Indian Ocean.
Another theory suggested by Peter Mcmahon, a mechanical engineer and an amateur crash investigator, states that he found the wreckage of the plane riddled by bullet holes. He claims that this information has been kept private, and hidden from the public and surprisingly the government. He thinks that such information will only lead to another "unnecessary" inquiry.
These theories, although they sound probable, experts find it unlikely and they have dismissed it as such. However, one argument that does seem believable is that there were well-documented faults with the plane that could have led to its crashing.
According to the US Aviation Watchdogs, there were reports of cracks in Boeing 777s that could lead to mid-air crashes or drop-in cabin pressure.
Social Media also contributed to the theories of the flight's disappearance, where many believed that there could be a Second Bermuda Triangle, somewhere in the Indian Ocean, which would explain its sudden disappearance.
The Original Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle, is a well-known mysterious phenomenon, for many boats and planes have gone missing, and they have never been recovered. In a bid, to support this theory, one Malaysian minister pointed out that the area where the MH370 supposedly disappeared is precisely on the opposite side of the globe to The Bermuda Triangle. Still, he was quickly proven wrong since it is the Caribbean that is located on the opposite side.
Despite the failure to locate the aircraft, 6 years after its disappearance, Malaysian authorities are still open to restarting the investigation of its missing flight, if any firm could provide some credible source or concrete evidence as to its disappearance.
The US exploration firm, Ocean infinity proposed a "no find, no fee" basis exploration using hi-fi scientific tools to locate the missing aircraft. However, it was still unable to locate the plane. As of now, there are no new Search Planned, though the government is always open to new proposals and methods to recover the aircraft.
Final Report:
Last year, in July, a new final report was released regarding the tragedy which stated that the failure of the air traffic control contributed towards its crashing as well as the course of the plane was changed manually, which was another cause. This report left the families of all those who were aboard the plane, angry and disappointed, and they demanded another investigation to bring some sort of closure.
Conclusion:
Every day, new theories are being proposed to conclude the missing aircraft. In contrast, some arguments sound quite strange, authorities are definitely open to investigating each of them, in hopes that at least one of them will serve as an answer to the mystery behind the missing flight.
