What comes into your mind when you hear the word, Serial Killer? I suppose it’s a creepy man hiding in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to seize his prey? Most homicides have a motive, but in the case of serial killers, the motive is replaced by a psychological urge to kill, which is frequently devoid of any logical reason or personal vendetta against the victim.

Zodiac Killer

From 1969 to 1974, these letters were sent to local newspapers before suddenly ceasing. A history professor and his wife deciphered one of the encrypted letters, which revealed that he killed to gather slaves for his afterlife. Even though the police gathered evidence and interviewed several suspects, the true murderer was never apprehended.
The Cleveland Torso Murderer
Unidentified to this day is the Cleveland Torso Murderer, who had made 20 killings from 1935 to 1938. This serial killer appeared to target drifters, though some people were never identified as such. Gender had no preference, and both men and women were murdered. Each victim was decapitated and the torso cut in half in some cases.
Most men suffered from the removal of their genitals, and certain victims showed signs of chemical treatment in their bodies. Long after their deaths, most were found, and the advanced degradation stage made it also difficult to identify the remains.
The Doodler
He was held responsible for 14 murders and three attacks on gay men in San Francisco, California, and remains unidentified to this day. He collected them from gay nightclubs, pubs, and restaurants, and the shocking activities took place between January 1974 and September 1975. The Doodler got artistic when cultivating his madness, sketching his victims after sexual encounters, then stabbing and murdering them.
The Stone man Killer
This serial killer had created a panic in Mumbai and was in the headline in the late ’80s. The Stoneman enjoyed murdering people for fun, mercilessly murdered at least 13 homeless people as they were sleeping in just six months. The same thing happened in Kolkata a few years back. Pedro Lopez

Long Island Serial Killer
He is suspected of being responsible for up to sixteen murders over a twenty-year period, with the majority of his victims being prostitutes. The bodies would be thrown along the Ocean Parkway near Gilgo Beach, Oak Beach, and Jones Beach State Park after the murders were committed.
